Special Missions
Many missions do not require a helicopter. Gyrocopters offer stable low-speed flight, excellent visibility, short-field capability and low operating costs, making them ideal for patrol, observation and inspection. We supply, configure and support Magni gyrocopters for professional operators and provide crew training for their missions.
Built for operators such as:
- Police & Law Enforcement
- Energy & Infrastructure Operators
- Border & Customs Authorities
- Survey & Mapping Companies
- Fire & Rescue Services
- Civil Protection & Disaster Response
- Agriculture & Forestry

What We Equip You For
Six areas where gyrocopters have proven themselves in daily operational use.
Police and Patrol
Area surveillance, traffic observation, event and border patrol. Low speed and excellent downward visibility make the gyrocopter a stable camera platform, and low running costs mean it can fly routine patrols rather than only responding to incidents.
Search and Rescue Support
Systematic search of open terrain, water margins and forest at low altitude and low speed. The gyrocopter operates from unprepared strips close to the search area and can stay overhead for 4h on a single tank.
Powerline and Pipeline Inspection
Following a linear route at slow speed and constant low altitude is exactly what a gyrocopter does well. Inspection flights that would be uneconomical by helicopter become routine.

Fire Watch and Environmental Monitoring
Early detection over forest and dry terrain, damage assessment after storms or flooding, and repeatable monitoring flights over the same area for comparison over time.
Aerial Survey and Mapping
A stable, slow platform for cameras, LiDAR and multispectral sensors. Suitable for cadastral survey, construction progress documentation and agricultural mapping.
Agriculture and Forestry
Crop and stand monitoring, wildlife and game surveys, damage assessment and boundary inspection over large areas at low cost per hectare.
From Aircraft to Operational Capability
You are not buying a gyrocopter. You are buying a capability that has to work on the day you need it.
01 Mission Consulting
We go through your mission profile, the area you need to cover and the conditions you fly in, then recommend the aircraft and equipment that fit
02 Aircraft Configuration
Airframe, engine, avionics and interior, specified for duty use rather than private flying. Build your specification in our configurator and we refine it together
03 Mission Equipment
Camera and sensor mounts, radios, additional lighting and the wiring to run it
04 Crew Training
Our team at Kosovo Aero and Services trains gyrocopter pilots. Your crews learn on the same type they will operate
05 Registration & Approvals
Support with registration, airworthiness documentation and the approvals your operation requires
06 Maintenance & Support
Scheduled maintenance, spare parts and technical support from Italy
Why a Gyrocopter?
A gyrocopter combines excellent low-speed control, short-field capability and low operating costs. Its rotor turns by airflow, allowing controlled descent even without engine power. It handles wind and turbulence well and can operate where larger aircraft are impractical.
Key advantages
✓ Controlled descent without engine power
✓ Short take-off and landing distances
✓ Suitable for simple or unprepared strips
✓ Low operating costs
✓ Stable platform for observation and patrol
✓ Simple maintenance and fast turnaround
